A grinding drum on spin is a bearing or spider — a big job, sometimes more than a used machine. We will say that before we open the cabinet all the way. Door-lock errors, E-codes for drain, and no-heat on a 60° cycle are smaller, common, and usually same-visit if the part is on the run.
Samsung, LG, Haier and Dawlance fronts in DHA Phase 2 and Bahria Phase 6 kitchens are weekly. We need the machine pulled far enough to get the back panel — 40cm is enough.
Do not run a leaking front-loader through another cycle “to finish the school uniforms.” Water on a board is how a pump job becomes a PCB job.
Questions we get on this job
Can bearings be done at home?
Some models yes. Some need a workshop press. We tell you after we see the tub.
Door will not lock?
Lock, latch, or board. The code on the display usually picks.
Clothes still wet?
Drain pump, pressure switch, or a failed spin. Not always the motor.
Parts quality?
We prefer parts that match the model, not a universal pump that rattles.
