Warm air from a split that used to cool is often low refrigerant — but topping gas into a leaking flare is how the same house calls again in 10 days. We look for oil at the flare, listen at the valves, and check pressures. If the leak is on a surface joint we repair it. If it is in concealed copper we tell you before wasting a cylinder.
R22, R410A and R32 are not interchangeable. Mixing them, or charging by eye without a scale or superheat/subcooling sense, wrecks compressors. Cool Planet carries the three gases we actually meet on Bahria and DHA walls. We recover what we can, vacuum, then charge to the nameplate.
A vacuum matters in Islamabad humidity. Moisture plus POE oil in an R410A circuit is how indoor boards and expansion valves fail the next season. The outdoor gauges stay on until the room temperature matches what the machine should do.
24-hour gas charging is listed on our Google profile for a reason: bedrooms in Phase 4 at midnight still need cold air. Say the refrigerant type if you know it (it is printed on the outdoor rating plate). If you do not, we read the plate.

Which gas does my AC take?
The outdoor rating plate lists it. Most older non-inverters are R22. Many 2018–2023 inverters are R410A. Newer Gree, Haier and similar wall units are often R32. We do not mix them.
Why not just add a little gas?
A leak is still there. A small top-up without vacuum also leaves air in the circuit. We charge after we know the circuit holds.
Is gas charging available at night?
Yes. Cool Planet is listed open 24 hours. Night jobs in Bahria Town and DHA are the most common.
Will charging fix a PCB error?
Not if the board, sensor, or fan is the fault. We diagnose first so you are not paying for gas the machine cannot use.
