We recover gas into a cylinder where the machine allows it, isolate power, take the indoor off the plate, and lower the outdoor. Copper that will not be reused is cut clean. At the new wall we hang, pipe, vacuum, charge with the correct refrigerant, and run a cooling test.
Tell us both addresses. A Phase 8 to DHA Phase 2 shift is a different day from moving an indoor three metres down the same lounge. Concealed pipe at the new house may already exist — we test it before we commit the machine.
Old R22 units still shift; we will not convert them to R410A as a party trick. If the indoor plastic is brittle or the outdoor fins are spent, we will suggest replacement instead of paying to move a dying compressor.
Questions we get on this job
Will I lose all the gas?
Not if we recover it. Some older machines lose a little at the valves; we top to spec after vacuum.
Can you shift the same day as the movers?
Often in Bahria Town. Give both gates and the new room wall photos so we do not arrive to a locked society.
Do you fill the old holes?
We cap and make the old hang safe. Wall filling and paint is not an AC job unless you book a small patch with us.
Two ACs in one move?
Yes. Quote is per machine because copper length and outdoor pads differ.
