New houses in Bahria Town Phase 7 and DHA Phase 5 often already have concealed copper from the grey-structure stage. We then hang the indoor on that pair, dress the flare, nitrogen- or vacuum-test, and start. Older DHA Phase 1 flats and CDA sectors usually need a surface copper run to the window or the shaft, with the outdoor on a wall bracket or a floor pad.
Tonnage follows the room, not the salesman. A 12×14 bedroom with west glass in June is not the same load as a shaded lounge. We will say if a 1 ton machine will hunt all afternoon. We install 1, 1.5 and 2 ton splits, inverter and non-inverter, including machines you bought yourself from a local dealer.
The outdoor needs airflow and a safe service path. Stuffing a condenser into a sealed duct shaft is how compressors die in August. Drain must fall; a loop in the PVC is how lounges get wet in week two. We leave the first cooling test on the wall — you should feel the drop before the van leaves.
Commercial rooms — clinics, tuition centres, small offices in Blue Area and Bahria — use the same method with extra attention to condensate and power. For a full office cycle see the commercial maintenance page.
What an install visit includes
- Indoor height and outdoor bracket or pad
- Insulated copper pair, flare, and vacuum
- Drain with slope and a dressed indoor chase
- Electrical isolator and a first-start cooling test
Questions we get on this job
Do you install a machine I already bought?
Yes. Bring the indoor, outdoor, and the pipe kit if you have one. We supply copper, drain, and brackets if the box does not.
Can you use concealed piping already in the wall?
Yes, after a pressure or vacuum test. If the builder left an uninsulated or crushed pair, we will tell you before the indoor goes up.
How long does a standard split install take?
A straightforward 1.5 ton wall split is a same-visit job. Concealed work, long copper runs, or a difficult outdoor pad take longer and we say so when we see the wall.
Do you install in apartments?
Yes, including DHA and Bahria apartments, provided there is a legal outdoor location and a drain path. We will not hang an outdoor on a neighbour’s ledge.
