A dry-fired element after a water cut is the classic Bahria call. We isolate, drain enough to change the element, check the thermostat, and refill. A weeping tank is usually the end of that cylinder — welding a thin glass-lined tank is not a lasting repair.
Pressure-relief valves that have been capped “because they drip” are dangerous. We uncap and replace. Earthing is not optional on a wet metal cylinder in a bathroom.
Floor-standing and wall-hung, 50 to 80 litre class, are the usual sizes. Tell us make and litres from the badge.
Questions we get on this job
No hot water but the light is on?
Thermostat or element. We test both.
Water on the bathroom floor?
Inlet, outlet, relief valve, or tank. Tank leak is usually replacement.
Do you install a new electric geyser the same day?
If the size is in reach, yes. Otherwise next slot with the right cylinder.
Generator use?
Say the kW. A 3kW element on a small generator is why breakers trip when the geyser and the AC share a phase.
